Welcome to Hippo Crates. This website is owned by Hippo Crates Ltd. By using the Hippo Crates website, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as "User Agreement").

If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

ORDERING AND DELIVERY

Hippo Crates delivers three times per week from Queenstown to addresses in the urban Queenstown Region. The delivery route is as follows: Arthurs Point - Arrowtown - Lake Hayes Estate - Shotover Country - Frankton - Hanley's Farm - Jack's Point - Kelvin Heights - Queenstown - Fernhill. We will deliver to urban, home addresses ONLY. As our driver will leave at 6PM, we will not deliver to offices/work places as the food must be taken in and refrigerated as soon as possible. We will not deliver to rural addresses. If you are unsure about whether or not your delivery address is suitable, please do not order until you have contacted us and we have confirmed via email. 

Delivery charges will be added to each order and shown as a separate item before you choose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.

Meals:
The cut-off time for ordering meals for Monday is the Thursday before at 4pm. Ordering is online only; email orders are not accepted. Order confirmation will always be sent from the website when you place an order. If you have not received a confirmation email within 2 hours of ordering, please contact us as this may mean your order has not been received.

Claims for non-delivery must be made within 24 hours of expected delivery, as tracking beyond this time is not practical. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address. Title and Risk Goods are at our risk until the goods are delivered to your delivery point. Once the order has been delivered, Hippo Crates cannot be responsible for it.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you confirm and agree that all allergies, intolerances and relevant health concerns/conditions have been fully disclosed by yourself prior to ordering, and that we have accepted your notification and agreed to proceed. We will not be held liable for harm caused by undisclosed allergies.

Hippo Crates meal plans are designed to help you, however, to see good results, a meal plan must be combined with a lifestyle of exercise and good habits. We will not be held accountable for any health issues that you may believe are diet related. If you are noticing any negative side effects we recommend that you consult a doctor or dietician. 

VIEWING YOUR ORDER

Orders placed online can be viewed by logging in with your own account details. Once an order has been received, it may not be changed.

UPDATING ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Any changes to account information can be made by logging into your personal account.

CONTRACT AND ITEM AVAILABILITY

Payment and Delivery Orders will be accepted by Hippo Crates for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from the use of this site is made subject to these terms and conditions and governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Items may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and are GST inclusive. You may pay by Mastercard or Visa. An order will only be processed once cleared payment has been received.

We do not accept cheque, EFTPOS, or cash as a form of payment.

If a payment is reversed, the customer is liable for all costs associated with debt collection where the Customer defaults in payment for an order.

Purchasing Items displayed on the Hippo Crates site can be made using eWay. eWay provides secure transaction processing for Visa and Mastercard.

Hippo Crates does not collect or store any credit card information.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Hippo Crates is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of profit, even if Hippo Crates was advised of the possibility of such damages.

USE OF THE WEBSITE BY YOU

Your right to use the Web Service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the Service on your account, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the Web Service. You may not download, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any material from the Web Service for public or commercial purposes.

This Web Service provides general information about Hippo Crates and the products and services it offers. The information and material on the site have been prepared solely for the purpose of providing information about Hippo Crates, the services, and products it offers. Hippo Crates reserves the right to change, delete or move any of the material on the Web Service at any time without notice.

Any inappropriate use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of any content on this site is strictly prohibited, unless specifically authorized in writing by Hippo Crates Ltd.

TERMINATION OF USE

You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of our website and Resources with or without notice and for any reason, including, without limitation, breach of this User Agreement. Any suspected illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity may be grounds for terminating your relationship and may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Upon suspension or termination, your right to use the Resources we provide will immediately cease, and we reserve the right to remove or delete any information that you may have on file with us, including any account or login information.

GOVERNING LAW

This website is controlled by Hippo Crates Ltd. It can be accessed by most countries around the world. By accessing our website, you agree that the statutes and laws of New Zealand, without regard to the conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of this website and the purchase of any products or services through this site.

Furthermore, any action to enforce this User Agreement shall be brought in the courts of New Zealand. You hereby agree to personal jurisdiction by such courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.

UNLESS OTHERWISE EXPRESSED, HIPPO CRATES LTD. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

CHANGES TO THIS USER AGREEMENT

Hippo Crates Ltd. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access the Hippo Crates site immediately.
